Gig projects is a term for irregular part-time jobs that use specially created information systems to place an order, automatically process work results, provide services to the end consumer, and carry out settlements.

Currently, the gig economy is growing rapidly, as of 2018, about 36% of U.S. workers join in the gig economy through either their primary or secondary jobs. Many new projects appear, the example of Uber has generated a wave of Uberization around the world.

At the same time, the development of this sector of the economy is facing several difficulties:

The main one is the problem of hiring personnel (gig workers). For many projects, it is important to gain a “critical mass” of workers to begin providing service.

At the same time, there has already been a layer of workers who are comfortable with the part-time mode, which allows more flexible planning of their working day. It is important for them to have a set of services, quickly switch between them, have a unified system of accounting for work performed and received payments.

In addition, when working in new systems, workers often encounter unprincipled employers: small amounts of payments make it economically meaningless to apply for judicial protection.

We use the Ubikiri social network to create a single community of gig workers and organize interaction with gig companies. The Ubikiri social network has several key features that allow you to build a project with minimal cost:

1.Microservice architecture that allows the use of various internal microservices (Profile, Wallets, Messenger, etc.);

2.Built-in crypto-wallets of users;

3.Developed API for integration with external services. This solution allows you to create a single community, structured in many ways, such as:

4.Skills and professional qualities;

5.Territory of residence;

6.Preferences in time, territory and type of work;

7.Demographic and other indicators. That will allow to offer new gig projects of a qualitatively selected audience.

A gig company provides access to its API, registers with Ubikiri and publishes a public offer in the form of a contract with a smart contract.

The selected audience, which has given permission to receive invitations from gig employers, is provided with offers from employers with a description of the conditions and requirements. The employee accepts the offer by initiating the appropriate smart contract.

Using API in the employer's system, a user account is formed using the profile data in Ubikiri.

The employee receives a list of services in which he has an account. By clicking, he can go to any of them.

As tasks are completed, the employee receives the appropriate remuneration, which is accrued in a single account. If conditions arise for receiving payment, a payment request is drawn up and mutual settlement is made.

Mutual settlements are made by fiat payment by the Customer to the CrowdFeeding account. Then these funds are converted into the corresponding cryptocurrency (e.g. USDT, ETH, BTC) and credited to the account of a gig-employee tied to the Profile.

Receiving a payroll, providing information about payments made, is carried out through the API.

Each new gig-service adds new offers to the existing community, each new member of the community selects the services that interest him. Structuring the community allows you to make adequate collections of proposals for employees and to form an adequate set of employees for new services.

Feedback allows us to organize interaction with the employer (digital labor union), resolve conflicts and organize fair competition for labor resources.
